For almost 10 years the CITGO Community Action Team has been coming out to help camp get ready for opening. This year on June 2nd, 2010 the wonderful people of CITGO came out to get us up and running. THANKS CITGO! |

| COMMUNITY BUILD, SLOW START BUT FAST FINISH-
On behalf of SOC I would like to sincerely
thank everyone who attended the community build on Saturday, May 1st. As you
all know we had a few problems, to say the least, with the delivery and
could not do a lot of the playground. Thanks to all of you, we were able to
accomplish so much more then just build a playground. You guys did an
amazing job and without your help much
of that work would have not been done. The article ran in the Homer Horizon, so if you want to check it out the link it is http://www.homerhorizon.com/Articles-c-2 |

BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH REMODELS 4TH DORM IN 4 YEARS!--This past July the members of BCRC returned for their fourth dorm remodel project in as many years. In only took 5 days and dorm 7 got a new roof, siding, windows, doors, central air and heat, outside landscaping, curtains and a new interior paint job with a polka dot theme for the girls! In addition the directors house got the royal treatment as well. New siding, windows, doors, insulation, air and heat and some much needed landscaping took the directors house off the scrap heap and transformed it into quite the little bungalow! Without these wonderful people I am not sure where camp would be right now.....so a HUGE thank you goes out to everyone from BCRC for all your hard work and dedication. You truly are a God send! Hope to see you again soon! |
